LET'S CREATE TOGETHER
Help. Inspire. Impact.
Let's Create Together's mission is to provide low-income families with the support they need to thrive through chronic illness. We seek to provide holistic care for children with sickle cell and their families and envision a world of equitable accessible care. We provide underprivileged children in poor communities with the tools they need to live and thrive successfully.
Let's Create Together is working towards a world where young children know there is a community supporting them, where their lives are not defined by their illness, and they have the tools they need to live brighter days. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.
There are multiple obstacles on the path to health for children diagnosed with sickle cell. It is our goal to create opportunities and areas where our children can succeed, manage their disease and achieve the health needed to live full and independent lives.
SUPPORT GROUPS & WORKSHOPS
Empowering Families to Thrive
With a focus on families with children 0-15, and guided by qualified facilitators within the community, the support groups offer a space to process feelings, share experiences and receive practical advice for not only our participants with sickle cell but their family members.
HIGH-NEED FINANCIAL STIPENDS
Alleviating the Financial Burden
We provide small financial stipends that can be used to cover items such as a deductible towards bone marrow transplants, support towards mortgages or rent, and even offset the cost of phone bills and medication costs.
THERAPY & MEDICAL PROVIDER NETWORK
Connecting Communities to Care
We are working to connect our participants to services such as screenings and referrals, counseling, research updates and even connections to psychosocial services when applicable.
